Our Zookeeper for a Day programs are the ultimate hands-on adventure, perfect for young animal lovers. Kids will join our friendly keepers for a day filled with close-up animal encounters, behind-the-scenes access, fun activities, and learning about animal care and enrichment.
With two tailored programs — Junior (8–11 years) and Kindy (5–7 years) — every child can step into the boots of a real zookeeper and create unforgettable school holiday memories.

The Junior Zookeeper for a Day programme is fully supervised by a qualified Zookeeper.

🐾 Ensure comfortable clothing and enclosed shoes are worn.
🐾 Remember to bring a refillable drink bottle and sunscreen.
🐾 Children are to be collected at 3:00pm.
🐾 Allergies or dietary requirements MUST be clearly specified in the booking registration form.

A Parent or Guardian must accompany the participating child throughout the Kindy Zookeeper for a Day programme.

👉 Zookeeper T-Shirt sizing is subject to availability on the day. If the requested shirt size is not available, the next closest size will be chosen. If a suitable size is unavailable, it will be posted after the event.
👉 A minimum number of participants is required for these events to proceed. If this minimum is not met, we reserve the right to cancel the event. In such instances, a full refund will be issued.
