Koala Kindy Encounter

Get close to our young Koalas in the Featherdale Koala Kindy

During our Koala Kindy Encounter, you will enjoy a unique and memorable experience, including exclusive access to Featherdale’s koala enclosures. One of the highlights of the encounter will be the opportunity for guests to help the keepers place the koalas' daily diet of Eucalyptus leaves into the feeding pots, before enjoying a private interaction with these fascinating creatures. This interaction will be an essential part of the koalas' conditioning training, and guests will play a role in assisting the keepers with this process.

Every encounter session includes one 6" x 9" print and a digital download code for the printed image.

The encounter will finish with guests taking a seat within the enclosure to relax, while watching the koalas enjoy the leaf they have just been given.

Guests will be able to take videos and photos throughout the encounter.

$150 for the first guest, and add a second guest for an additional $100. (Save $50 on the 2nd Guest)

General Admission is not included.
All Children 15 years and below must be accompanied by a paying adult encounter ticket and it is the responsibility of the adult to supervise the child at all times.
The animal welfare is to be determined by the Featherdale Keeper at all times, and the Keeper reserves the right to cease the encounter at any time.
All Participants must be able to follow all instructions given by the Featherdale Keeper throughout the Encounter, and you agree to act at all times in a safe and appropriate manner.
We require a minimum of 24-hours’ notice prior to your encounter for any changes made to your booking.
Encounter Tickets are non-refundable.
GUESTS MUST BE AT THE MEETING POINT 1 HOUR PRIOR TO THE START OF THE ENCOUNTER.
Featherdale recommends arriving to the park a minimum of 30 mins prior to Animal Encounters & Experiences
Guests will meet a keeper at the meeting point where they will be given a safety brief and introduction to the encounter before entering the enclosure.
