Featherdale wins at the NSW Tourism Awards

Featherdale Wildlife Park was awarded the Bronze Medal in the ‘Major Tourist Attractions’ category at the 2014 NSW Tourism Awards held on Thursday 27th November, at the Dockside Pavilion, Darling Harbour.
Celebrating its 25 year, the annual NSW Tourism Awards aims to provide recognition and reward outstanding tourism and hospitality providers throughout NSW.
Featherdale, General Manager, Tim Sinclair-Smith acknowledged the Bronze Award as a fantastic achievement for the Western Sydney tourist attraction by stating ‘This award reflects the hard work and dedication of our team who work tirelessly everyday in providing a world class native wildlife experience that is unlike any other’. He further acknowledged the quality and calibre of the other finalists in the major tourist attractions category which included Blue Mountains National Park, Wet n Wild Sydney and, Taronga Zoo who won Gold in the category.
Mr Sinclair-Smith further added, ‘We are always looking to the future and planning new and exciting exhibits at the Park to ensure that highly sought after, up close and interactive animal encounter.’
