Major League Baseball meets Aussie Wildlife
It was a great birthday surprise for LA Dodgers starting pitcher, Clayton Kershaw this week in Sydney when he was joined at breakfast by Mojo, the Eastern Grey Joey Kangaroo from Featherdale Wildlife Park.
Ellen, Clayton's wife was in on the surprise and ensured her husband enjoyed a morning walk along the pier outside of Sydney's The Star Casino before sitting down to breakfast. As the pair neared a park bench, Mojo was ready and waiting with Featherdale Keeper, Kellie.
Both Ellen and Clayton loved meeting Mojo who happily ate lucerne from Ellen's hand and seemed far more interested in the scenery than with the LA Dodger's superstar. 'The look on Clayton's face was priceless!' Featherdale keeper Kellie said. 'He was genuinely surprised and excited'.

During the evening at a Gala event in Sydney, it was Featherdale's Koalas turn to shine as they mingled with LA Dodgers players at The Star Casino. Maci the Koala got up close and personal with legendary sports Broadcaster, Vin Scully.
