Do you know a little animal lover who dreams of being a zookeeper one day?
Then they can’t miss the opportunity to become a zookeeper these school holidays! We’ve created a kids school holiday program that truly is an unforgettable experience with dates available over the next school holidays. As groups are limited to a maximum of 10 spots per day (on select dates) this is sure to sell out so please book in advance to ensure your little animal lover does not miss out.
Little keepers will be accompanied by our Featherdale zookeepers and education officer for a range of activities around the park, making friends with a variety of animals, learning about their specific diets, our enrichment programs to educate and engage our animals and most importantly, the important projects Featherdale is involved with across a variety of key species. The Zookeeper for a Day Program is fully supervised by Qualified zookeepers or staff and morning tea, lunch and drinks will be provided.
Booking is essential and spots will fill up quickly.
All budding zookeepers receive as part of their ticket:

- Gift bag
- Free kids entry for their next visit to Featherdale
- Each child will receive a Certificate of completion at the conclusion of the day
