The encounter includes exclusive access to one of Featherdale’s quokka enclosures.

Guests will have the opportunity to  sit amongst our quokkas and offer them some food.

Guests will able to take videos and photos throughout the encounter – why not try and snap a coveted quokka selfie? Participants will also receive a professional photo keepsake of their experience.

This encounter is suitable for ages 10+. All Children 15 years and below must be accompanied by a paying adult and it is the responsibility of the adult to supervise the child at all times.

The animal welfare is to be determined by the Featherdale keeper at all times, and the keeper reserves the right to cease the encounter at any time. All participants must be able to follow all instructions given by the Featherdale keeper throughout the encounter, and you agree to act at all times in a safe and appropriate manner.

The encounter includes exclusive access to Featherdale’s crocodile enclosure.

Guests will be escorted onto our crocodile viewing deck where they will have the opportunity feed our 2.6 metre saltwater crocodile, Max.

Guests will then have the opportunity to hold a juvenile crocodile.

Guests will able to take videos and photos throughout the encounter.

This encounter is suitable for ages 16+

Guest will have the opportunity to assist keepers with hand feeding our penguin colony.

Sit with the colony as you get an opportunity to feed and watch them play.

No bookings required! Simply visit the Koala Sanctuary and follow the signs. Packages can be purchased at the Featherdale entry with your tickets or in the Digital Photography hub.

The encounter includes exclusive access to Featherdale’s koala enclosures.
Guest will have the opportunity to assist keepers with placing out the koala’s daily diet of Eucalyptus leaves, into our feeding pots before having a private interaction with the koalas which will assist keepers with their conditioning training.

The encounter will finish with guests taking a seat within the enclosure to relax, while watching the koalas enjoy the leaf they have just been given.
