Size: 45-52cm

Status: Rare

Diet: Feeds on grasses and herbs.

Habitat: Dry country. Some populations are found in association with permanent water holes and suitable caves for shelter.

Breeding: capable of breeding whenever conditions are suitable. Produce one young at a time and capable of producing two young a year.
