Size: 75-85cm

Status: Common along costal Australia and inland waterways.

Diet: Fish, tortoise, sea-snakes, small birds, mammals and carrion.

Habitat: Most areas except closed

Breeding: Two eggs layed May to October, in huge nests up to 4 metres deep.
