White-bellied Sea-eagle Whiptail Wallaby
Scientific name: Haliastur (Milvus) sphenurus

Size: 50 - 59cm

Status: Common

Diet: Feeds on live or dead prey, small mammals, reptiles, birds, fish and large insects.

Habitat: Soars over open woodlands, plains and seashores.

Breeding: Lays one to three eggs anytime of the year and builds a large stick nest up to 15 metres or more above the ground.
