| | Sulphur-Crested Cockatoo
/Sulphur-Crested+Cockatoo/$File/Sulphur-Crested+Cockatoo.jpg) One of the most well known Australian birds the Sulphur Crested Cockatoo is a popular pet world wide. The cheecky cockatoo is one of Australia's best known parrots. It's body is totally white apart from the colourful feathers on it's head. These feathers fan out to form a golden crest.
The cockatoo loves fruit. Large flocks of them can often be seen having a feast in fruit trees.
Cockatoos sometimes live to be 100 years old or more. |
