Status: Rare on mainland Australia
Diet: Feeds on grasses and herbs.
Habitat: Lives in wet and dry forests and occasionally in rainforests, wet sclerophyll forests with thick shrubby understorey associated with grass patches.
Breeding: Most births occur between February and June. Females are sexually mature at 1 year old.
