Status: Locally abundant.
Diet: Seeds, grasses and herbs.
Habitat: Open mulga woodlands, bluebush plains and sandhills.
Breeding: Ostrich's are capable of breeding when conditions suit, up to 20 eggs can be laid in a sand nest and both parents share e parental duties.
