Scientific name: Pomatostomus temporalis

Size: 25 - 29cm

Status: Moderately Common

Diet: Feeds on insects, reptiles and spiders.

Habitat: Drier more open forests, shrubby woodlands and agriculture areas with isolated trees.

Breeding: Breeds between July and February. Two to three eggs are laid in a domed nest in a fork of a small tree.
