Status: Abundant

Diet: Favourite food is grass and shrubs.

Habitat: They are found between inland plains and coastal areas where the rainfall is more than 25cm and in habitats ranging from semiarid mallee scrub through to woodland forests.

Breeding: Capable of breeding at any time during the year, gestation period is 36 days and they give birth to a single young per year.
