The best way to appreciate Australia's famous wildlife is to get close to it. At Featherdale, you'll get "up close and personal" with kangaroos and koalas, wombats and wallabies, emus, dingoes and Tasmanian devils.

Our spectacular crocodile exhibit is really worth a look (although we don't recommend trying to get on friendly terms with a croc).

Koala Sanctuary
Have your photo taken with a Koala - absolutely free - when you visit one of the largest private koala colonies in New South Wales.

Rare native birds
At Featherdale, we have one of Australia's largest bird collections, with over 230 varieties. The aviaries have all been landscaped with trees and shrubs just like the birds' natural habitat.

		Satin Bowerbird has the blues He raids backyards for blue objects (eg. Pens) for his bower… and can mate with up to 30 females.

Animal Nursery
Toddlers love Featherdale's animal nursery. There are lambs, pigs, chickens, ducks, turkeys, goats and rabbits to pat and feed!
